Little Planet
"Little Planet" is an interactive digital piece developed in Unity. Inspired by visuals from "The Little Prince" and mobile app, "Sky: Children of the Light", this piece portrays a miniature planet suspended in a space where a lone human figure revolves around the planet in a fetal position. This planet, a whole world in its own right, serves as both a whole world and a limit, a whole universe shrunk down enough to behold simultaneously in a single moment, where the human figure lingers in a quiet orbit, suspended between being ground and being gone. In the interplay between the whole universe and the quiet orbit, the work depicts the paradoxical nature of human existence. In being small and alone, there is meaning, significance, and infinity, echoing how human experience feels infinite in its complexity when measured against a universal scale.

Explored Concepts
My initial design concept involved a low poly figure walking around a rocky planet, which would walk in the direction of the user's controller. This was later altered to a floating figure hovering around a clay form planet that rotated in the controller direction to emphasize a more internal state of being.
